Common Grounds has been the corner of downtown Apex where people slow down since 2008. locally-owned, open every day, and roasting for the regulars who know our names and the visitors who just wandered in off Salem Street.

Order a latte, a smoothie, or a scoop of gelato. Try the Death by Chocolate Cheesecake at least once. Grab a table inside or out front, bring the dog, and stay a while. On weekends there's usually live music.

Open every day, 7 am to 6 pm. Order ahead or just walk in.

"I tried Common Grounds Coffee House & Desserts today for the first time. This is by far the best coffee I have ever had! I got the white chocolate frappe and a common roll. The frappe was the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee. I love they put expresso in the frappe. The cinnamon roll was delicious. This is my new favorite place to get coffee. I highly recommend to try this place."

"Are you visiting Apex? Need some coffee? Do not look anywhere else. Seriously. As soon as you step inside your eyes are going to be delighted by their unique wall of mugs and other little trinkets of decor. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food? PHENOMENAL. The coffee? To die for (plus soooooo many flavors). Don’t even get me started on the gelato. But the best part? The staff. So warm, welcoming and fun!! Seriously one of my favorite coffee places of all time and I’ve traveled the world."
